Our club is more than 100 years old and among the oldest on campus, with our own lab space and array of radio equipment on the top floor of the Engineering Sciences Building.

Radio is at the heart of the modern world. From cellphone calls to Wi-FI to Bluetooth headphones, walkie-talkies, and satellite communications – they all use radio communication. Our club strives to allow members to experiment and learn more on how these systems work in a real-life way, while also connecting them to many other people around the world that share the same interests.
From the moment you wake up, you are using radio communication. GPS navigation and text messages are great examples of modern technologies that rely on radio.
